You know, sometimes authors look after someone to make him listen their poems for getting advice. I brought my poem to Svabrin after i arranged it. He said “your poem isn’t good”. I got angry him and took my notebook back. After that i said him “ i won’t show my any poem to you”.

Svabrin laughed.
“All right “ he said. “will you be able to keep your promise? Poets need listeners…”
